Selena Gomez was chosen to host the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards on November 6, she confirmed via Twitter Monday. “I am so excited to be hosting the MTV EMA 2011 in Belfast on November 6!” Gomez wrote. “Watch live on MTV” The pop star probably will not attend the event alone, her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, has been nominated for three awards that night.
Gomez is not only hosting the event, but a nominee, too. In fact, she will compete for the greatest reward fans against Lady Gaga, Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars and its own BF,Bieber. Nothing like a little friendly competition to keep the love alive!
This is not the first Gomez hosting – Texas native lived in the micro to the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards earlier this year, and interviewed clients for the MTV Video Music Awards 2011 Pre-Show last month.
